During the weekend of 24-26th November Swami Umapuriji visited The Netherlands where she gave inspiring sparkling Yoga Lectures, Workshops and Satsangs in Dongen, Oosteind and in Hillegom. She was selflessly sharing with the participants the wisdom she gathered during her more than 30 years of experience teaching Yoga in Daily Life around the world.
The weekend seminar program was designed in a way that participants could expand and deepen the theoretical and practical knowledge of Yoga, and could leave the workshops better prepared for facing everyday life challenges.
Friday evening started in Dongen with the workshop on how to reduce stress, and improve the sleep and inner peace. While at the following-up workshops on Satuday morning in Yoga in Daily Life Vegan & Vegetarian Ashram in Oosteind, and on Sunday in Hillegom Swami Umapuri was teaching about the ways to improve the immunity, inner strength and vitality.
After the lectures in which she was also sharing her experiences and some beautiful stories in which she vividly explained the theoretical background, the participants were mainly practicing the specially designed Asanas and Pranayamas.
Umapuri gave special attention to each and every participant and shared with them valuable practical tips regarding to their questions and their condition. In her own invisible way, she created a very pleasant, energizing and harmonious atmosphere where everyone could experience the beneficial effects of Yoga in Daily Life practiced under such an advanced teacher. At all times she shared willingly and openly her many valuable insights. Some practitioners were expressing their amazement on how much instant relief of blockages and pain they’ve experienced while practicing. At the end everybody left enthusiastic and took with them some very valuable deepened and new knowledge and tips.
One of the highlight surprises was the vegetarian cooking workshop on Saturday in the Ashram in Oosteind. It was a great opportunity to socialize, exchange and cook together with chef Umapuriji in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere and to get acquainted with the system Yoga in Daily Life.
Umapuriji explained the importance and necessity to keep ourselves in purity, not only by daily practicing various Yoga techniques but also by cultivating, preparing and eating pure organic vegetarian food. Five different Indian dishes were prepared and cooked with all kind of different spices, herbs and flours. Everyone was involved in either cutting the veggies, rolling and making the chapati’s, preparing the different soups and doughs or observing the different processes of the cooking. Afterwards we all sat together ad enjoyed the taste of the delicious, colorful and rich food that was prepared.
Saturday and Sunday evenings were concluded in a gentle quiet Satsang atmosphere, singing prayer, mantras and Bhajans. The hearts were filled with love and devotion to the Master Vishwaguruji and the Yoga in Daily Life Guru lineage.
